The City of Evanston wants to know how the COVID-19 has impacted residents and organizations in the city to help in planning recovery efforts.
So it’s conducting two surveys — one for individuals, the other for organizations. There’s also a Spanish version of the survey for individuals.
The surveys can also be completed by phone or paper copies can be requested by calling 847-448-4311.
City officials say the survey data will help leverage state and federal resources, inform the city’s budgeting and grantmaking process, prioritize nonprofit partnerships and support critical social service providers in making the case for funding.
The city is developing a recovery plan to get back to a new normal of work and recreation. And through the Mayor’s COVID-19 Task Force, city staff and community leaders are working to determine the best way to help Evanston faith organizations, nonprofits and businesses manage in this challenging time, while meeting the needs of the community.
