Evanston police now have released police body cam footage of the May 27 arrest of Trenton Alexander Hunt that caused controversy after Hunt posted his own video of the incident online.
The Police Department’s Office of Professional Standards is continuing to review the incident.
Interim City Manager Erika Storlie, in a statement last Saturday, said that, if the officers’ conduct was not appropriate “please be assured that actions will be taken and individuals will be held accountable.”

Need to stop assuming misconduct by hard working police
Now that Black Americans got their wishes to have police wear body cameras all the time,they now find two things keeping them from always being the victim. 1.>If a police officer does not do his duties&responsibilities to the public as a whole, such as give the suspected offenders leniency,the government has the right to terminate that officers employment for failure to do his duties&responsibilities! ◇The citizens who wish,can file lawful complaints against the police for not upholding the law 2.The black Americans that enjoy being victims of all the wrongdoings, now will see how unlawful Black Americans really are! This will ultimately provide proof that African Americans such as myself can continue to Respect the Police! ♧This video was a great show of Police not only doing what we need for them to do, it also shows how the city had to waste valuable resources, to get everything together to prove police are doing their best to keep us safe.
