Registration has opened for 14 winter camp programs for Evanston children ages 3 to 14 during the winter break, Dec. 22 to Jan. 2.

The camps, including ecology camp, art camp, adventure camp, sports camps and more, are operated by the City of Evanston’s Recreation Division.

Options vary and include one-week or two-week programs, in full-day or half-day sessions.

      The Levy Center newsletter says the center will be closed Dec. 22 through 26 for cleaning (except that the lobby will be open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 22, 23 and 26).

      So, no, it would not appear that the programs for children are displacing the programs for seniors.
