You can keep your kids productively occupied during the winter school break by signing them up for one of 12 programs offered in Evanston’s winter break camps.
Operated by the city’s Recreation Division, the programs are offered to children from ages 3 to 14 on such topics as ecology, art, chess, adventure, and sports.
Camps begin Dec. 23 and run through Jan. 3, with no classes on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day. Options vary and include one-week or two-week programs, in full-day or half-day sessions.
You can register online or by calling 3-1-1.
