Work will begin on June 20 starting with alleys on Tuesday refuse collection routes.

Workers will only dispose of brush that they have trimmed and they will be under the supervision of a Streets and Sanitation Division supervisor.

Flyers will be distributed 48 hours in advance to notify residents of the alley right-of-ways to be trimmed to allow residents time to trim shrubs on their own should they choose to do so.

Here’s the schedule:

  • Tuesday refuse routes — June 20 to June 24.
  • Monday refuse routes — June 27 to July 8.
  • Wednesday refuse routes — July 11 to July 22.
  • Thursday refuse routes — July 25 to Aug. 8

Residents can also submit requests for alley brush trimming by calling 3-1-1 or submitting a request online.
