The City of Evanston’s annual firewood sale for winter begins Saturday at 2310 Oakton St. (between the Recycling Center and the Animal Shelter).

Hours are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays through the end of February, or until supplies are exhausted. Firewood will not be available on Saturday, December 24.

Prices are: $30 per 1/8 face cord; $50 per 1/4 face cord; $80 per 1/2 face cord or $150 per full-face cord.

Payment should be made by personal check or exact change; credit cards are not accepted. Employees will be available to assist with loading firewood into a vehicle. Firewood cannot be delivered.
