THEFT

1100 Fowler

A watch, three gold rings, and a diamond gold bracelet, with a total value in excess of $10,000, was reported missing in a theft from a home in the 1100 block of Fowler Avenue between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. today.

1900 Sherman

Miscellaneous clothing was reported missing in a theft from a home in the 1900 block of Sherman Avenue between June 6 and 7:35 a.m. today.

2300 Cowper

A catalytic converter was removed from a 2009 Honda in the 2300 block of Cowper Avenue between 3 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

2500 Lawndale

A catalytic converter was removed from a 2009 Honda in the 2500 block of Lawndale Avenue between 11:59 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. yesterday.

2100 Orrington

A license plate was removed from a vehicle in the 2100 block of Orrington Avenue around 1:45 p.m. yesterday.

1700 Chicago

The seat and rear wheel of a bicycle was removed from a bike rack in the 1700 block of Chicago Avenue between July 16 and 2:54 p.m. yesterday.

100 Asbury

Miscellaneous merchandise was stolen from CVS Pharmacy in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue around 5 p.m. yesterday.

2485 Howard

Ellen R. Fong, 55, of 320 W. 23rd Place, Chicago, was arrested at 2485 Howard St. at 6:51 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft.

BATTERY

2401 Howard

Willie A. Watkins, 39, of 5728 Rose Court, Berkeley, was arrested at 2401 Howard St. at 12:37 p.m. yesterday and charged with domestic battery.

GRAFFITI

Elmwood at Seward

Graffiti was discovered on the sidewalk near Elmwood Avenue and Seward Street at 3:30 p.m. yesterday.

TRAFFIC

2802 Sheridan

Joel A. Arellano, 52, of 6816 N. Ridge Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 2802 Sheridan Road at 6:33 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation.

303 Ridge

Luis Cortina, 25, of 3211 S. Lituanica Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 303 Ridge Ave. at 5:01 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation.
