The Woman’s Club of Evanston is seeking donations to make it’s fourth annual Dreams Delivered Prom Boutique next month a success.

Dreams Delivered provides proper attire to senior girls at Evanston Township High School who would otherwise have great difficulty attending their senior prom. The club collects new and gently worn formal dresses and accessories and provides them free of charge to students in need.

The senior prom is a classic milestone — an early chance to dress up and the last chance to connect with friends before graduation.

But each year the event gets more expensive, and buying a ticket and an evening dress is beyond the reach of many girls.

The club is collecting dresses appropriate for prom (in all sizes), formal shoes and bags, sparkly jewelry, wraps and accessories, unopened cosmetics, nail polish, perfume samples and pocketbook mirrors.

Items may be dropped off during business hours at the following locations:

  • Avenue Hair, 919 Chicago Ave., through April 24
  • Evanston Athletic Club, 1723 Benson Ave., through April 18.
  • Kenny the Kleeners, 165 Greenbay Road in Wilmette, through April 24.
  • Pivot Point Salon, 1560 Sherman Ave., Evanston, through April 24.
