An unsolved Evanston homicide case from 18 years ago will be featured this weekend on a a Chicago television show.

On April 4, 1995, Barbara Kirk, age 53, was discovered murdered  in her apartment at 235 Ridge Ave.  Police are asking that the public view this crime stoppers show featuring a brief summary of what happened.

The program, Crime Stoppers Case Files: Chicago airs at 11 p.m. Saturday on WPWR – MY50.

Police hope that making the public aware of this cold case will generating new leads that may assist detectives in solving this crime.
