A burglar pried the door open to a condominium in the 800 block of Brummel and stole computer equipment. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Burglary

800 Brummel

The door to a condominium in the 800 block of Brummel Street was pried open between 1:30 p.m. yesterday and 12:30 a.m. today. Among items reported missing were a tablet computer and a desktop computer.

1100 Church

Cash was taken from a 2015 Dodge in the 1100 block of Church Street between 4 p.m. Monday and 8:15 a.m. yesterday.

Traffic

2209 Howard

Andy Lau, 49, of 2766 S. Cedar Glen Drive, Arlington Heights, was arrested at 2209 Howard St. at 11:49 p.m. yesterday and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on March 12 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
