An Apple laptop computer and Canon photo equipment were among items taken in a burglary in the 700 block of Ridge Avenue. This is among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Burglary

700 Ridge

Burglars damaged the window of the rear door of a home in the 700 block of Ridge Avenue and took an Apple laptop computer, a Canon camera, and jewelry between 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. yesterday.

2700 Bryant

An unlocked door provided access for the burglary of a home in the 2700 block of Bryant Avenue around 3:15 p.m. yesterday. .

Graffiti

1600 Benson

Graffiti was discovered at the Chicago Transit Authority depot in the 1600 block of Benson Avenue at about 4:55 a.m. today.

Other

1321 Maple

Dennis O. Wallace, 20, address unknown, was arrested at 1321 Maple Ave. at 10 p.m. yesterday and was charged with violation of an order of protection. He is due in court on Jan. 24 at 9:30 a.m.  

Shots Heard

Lake at Dodge

Gunshots were reported at Lake Street and Dodge Avenue at 3:10 a.m. today. Police checked the area but found nothinig.

Traffic

801 Asbury

Everardo L. Jimenez, 20, of 2655 W. Albion Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 801 Asbury Ave. at 1:21 a.m. today and charged with driving under the influence.,

1401 Dempster

Michael Allen Wolf, 42, of 3060 Kathy Lane, Waukegan, was arrested at 1401 Dempster St. at 2:17 p.m. Tuesday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Feb. 18 at 1:30 p.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
