A laptop computer was among items taken from an unlocked 2010 Jeep in the 2300 block of Cowper Avenue. This among stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.


2300 Cowper

A laptop computer and a wallet were stolen from a 2010 Jeep parked on the street in the 2300 block of Cowper Avenue between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 4:20 a.m. yesterday.

700 Hinman

Pry marks indicated an attempt by someone to enter a condominium in the 700 block of Hinman Avenue between 9 a.m. and 4:04 p.m. yesterday.


2500 Oakton

An Illinois license plate was removed from a 2004 tow truck in a junk yard in the 2500 block of Oakton Street around 4 p.m. yesterday.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
