Burglary

2300 Cowper

A laptop computer and a wallet were stolen from a 2010 Jeep parked on the street in the 2300 block of Cowper Avenue between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 4:20 a.m. yesterday.

700 Hinman

Pry marks indicated an attempt by someone to enter a condominium in the 700 block of Hinman Avenue between 9 a.m. and 4:04 p.m. yesterday.

Theft

2500 Oakton

An Illinois license plate was removed from a 2004 tow truck in a junk yard in the 2500 block of Oakton Street around 4 p.m. yesterday.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
