Pry marks revealed to investigators how a burglar entered an apartment in the 400 block of Callan Avenue after 7 p.m. Friday and stole a laptop computer, a desktop computer, and Pandora jewelry.
Power and hand tools were among items taken from an apartment storage area in the 2700 block of Hampton Parkway between 6 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. yesterday.
Burglars forced open the door to access a home in the 2400 block of Bradley Place shortly after 4:30 p.m. Friday.
Cash and miscellaneous merchandise were taken from a 2013 Kia in the driveway of a home in the 100 block of Custer Avenue between 4:30 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday.
Dewey at Emerson
Someone shot at a victim near Dewey Avenue and Emerson Street around 6:53 p.m. Saturday.
Someone displayed a weapon in the 400 block of Ridge Avenue around 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Glenford Salgado Morales, 42, of 1809 Lyons St. was arrested at that address at 9:26 a.m. Saturday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on June 27 at 9:30 a.m.
Someone broke a window at a home in the 1100 block of Sherman Avenue around 11:25 p.m. Friday.
Windows were broken at an apartment in the 1700 block of Dodge Avenue around 4:50 a.m. Saturday.
A window was damaged by a pellet gun at an apartment in the 700 block of Brummel St. around 9:15 p.m. yesterday.
Guadalupe M. Cardenas, 33, of 3742 N. Sawyer Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 535 Custer Ave. at 4:07 p.m. yesterday and charged with trespass on real property. He is due in court on July 12 at 10:30 a.m.
Kevin G. Stewart, 58, of 4615 N. Clifton Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1427 Chicago Ave. at 11:13 a.m. Saturday and charged with trespass on real property. He is due in court on Aug. 2 at 1:30 p.m.
Steve T. Rubel, 52, of 131 Clyde Ave., was arrested at that address at 5:50 a.m. Friday and charged with possession of cannabis. He is due in court on Aug. 2 at 9 a.m.
Police received a report of a man with a gun in the 1800 block of Brummel Street around 1 p.m. Saturday. They checked the area but found no man with a gun.
Vehicle parts were stolen from a 2017 Honda parked in the 1900 block of Colfax Street between noon Thursday and 8:30 a.m. Friday.
2700 Green Bay
Vitamins were taken from a grocery store in the 2700 block of Green Bay Road around 4 p.m. Saturday.
Jeremy E. Goodnight, 27, of 302 Sherman Ave., was arrested at 1000 Grove St. at 4:20 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on July 23 at 10:30 a.m.
Ridge at Crain
Abdul Jabbar Mohammed, 24, of 6535 N. Artesian Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Ridge Avenue and Crain Street at 1:49 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on July 31 at 9 a.m.
