Burglary

1900 Greenwood

Burglars took a Jumping Jack compactor, a waste pump, 2 Honda drainers, four kerosene heaters, a plate compactor, and a laser level from a construction site in the 1900 block of Greenwood Street between April 25 and 10 a.m. Saturday.

1100 Grant

A Starbucks gift card was removed from an unlocked 2014 Honda in the 1100 block of Grant Street between 1:45 p.m. Saturday and 9:20 a.m. yesterday.

2500 Orrington

Cash was taken from an unlocked Toyota in the 2500 block of Orrington Avenue between 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. yesterday.

1600 Dobson

Cash was taken from an unlocked 2007 Dodge in the 1600 block of Dobson Street between 2:30 p.m. on May 3 and 11:54 a.m. Friday.

Criminal Damage

100 Asbury

Someone inflicted dents and scratches on a vehicle in a business parking lot in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue around 2:45 p.m. Saturday.

1900 Dempster

Someone cracked the windshield of a vehicle in a business parking lot in the 1900 block of Dempster Street between 3 p.m. Thursday and 5:55 p.m. Friday.

400 Asbury

Someone broke several glass containers at a gas station in the 400 block of Asbury Avenue around 10 a.m. yesterday.

Criminal Trespass

635 Chicago

Deon D. Lee, 27, of 6715 N. California Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 635 Chicago Ave. at 10:54 a.m. Friday and charged with trespassing on real property. He is due in court on June 18 at 9 a.m.

Drugs

1636 Howard

Cortez L. Heard, 22, of 3134 W. Fulton St., Chicago, was arrested at 1636 Howard St. at 3:19 p.m. yesterday and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

1700 Simpson

Antoine B. Hill, 34, of 1716 Payne St., was arrested at 1700 Simpson St. at 1:48 p.m. Tuesday and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Graffiti

500 Sheridan

Graffiti was discovered at noon Saturday on a park building in the 500 block of Sheridan Road.

Other

1399 Church

Jonathan Rosario, 18, of 9006 LaCrosse Ave., Skokie, was arrested at 1399 Church St. at 4:20 p.m. Friday and charged with disorderly conduct. He is due in court on June 26 at 10:30 a.m.

Shots Heard

2300 Church

Gunshots were reported in the 2300 block of Church Street at 1:50 a.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Theft

1800 Main

A bicycle secured in the yard of a home in the 1800 block of Main Street was stolen between 7 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. yesterday.

1100 Chicago

Someone stole merchandise from a grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue around 3 p.m. Saturday.

3000 Hartzell

A package delivered to a home in the 3000 block of Hartzell Street was stolen around 7 p.m. Friday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
