A 40-year-old man confronted the team of subjects who were removing the catalytic converter from his 2009 Honda in the 1500 block of Dobson Street, which resulted in one of the men pointing a handgun at him at 5:40 a.m. Friday.
BATTERY
Church at Oak
A 53-year-old man was cut by a kitchen knife near Church Street and Oak Avenue at 8:06 p.m. Thursday.
BURGLARY
700 Michigan
Someone gained entry to a 2008 Volvo in the 700 block of Michigan Avenue by using a pry tool between 3 p.m. Sunday and 3 p.m. Monday. Nothing was reported missing.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
1700 Crain
Tires were slashed on a 2021 Toyota in the 1700 block of Crain Street between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 10:15 a.m. Monday.
ROBBERY
1700 Emerson
Two juvenile males said they had been robbed at gunpoint in the 1700 block of Emerson Street around 9 p.m. Sunday.
SHOTS HEARD
700 Dobson
Gunshots were reported at 10:01 p.m. Monday in the 700 block of Dobson Street. Police checked the area but found nothing.
THEFT
800 Dobson
A catalytic converter was removed from a 2011 Kia in the 800 block of Dobson Street between 8 p.m. Thursday and 11:45 a.m. Friday.
2400 Howard
Alcoholic products were taken from the Jewel-Osco grocery store in the 2400 block of Howard Street at 5:19 p.m. Sunday.
1600 Sherman
Alcoholic products were taken from the Target department store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue at 4:16 p.m. Sunday.
600 Chicago
Miscellaneous merchandise was taken from the Walgreens Pharmacy in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue at 8:13 a.m. Monday.
Elmwood at Dempster
A gray 2010 Honda Civic was taken by unknown means from a parking lot on Elmwood Avenue at Dempster Street between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Monday.
2100 Ridge
A package was stolen from a residence in the 2100 block of Ridge Avenue between 4 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday.
100 Callan
A package was stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Callan Avenue at 10:08 a.m. on June 2.
TRAFFIC
3033 Howard
Hussain Sajid Mohammed, 42, of 8308 N. Kilpatrick Ave., Skokie, was arrested at 3033 W. Howard St. at 3:02 p.m. Monday and charged with a traffic violation.
500 Lincoln
Marshawn M. Williams, 21, of 1913 Wesley Ave., was arrested at 500 Lincoln St. at 7:25 a.m. on July 15 and charged with a traffic violation.
