Vandals smashed 11 more rear windows of cars on Evanston’s south side, to add to the five reported the day before, and detectives investigating the damage are speculating that the collective incidents were probably related. The new reports were included in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.
EPD Cmdr. Ryan Glew advises residents with any knowledge of the vandalism to notify the department’s detective bureau at (847) 866-5040. Until the culprits are apprehended, it would be wise for residents to park their cars in their garages, if space is available.
