The latest seven-day average of new COVID cases in Evanston in stands at 30.3 per day, down from 31.7 a week earlier. But cases at School District 65 and Evanston Township High School have increased.

Cases reported in Evanston/Skokie School District 65 increased, with 41 new student cases in Tuesday’s bi-weekly tally compared to 26 in the report from a week ago.

Evanston Township High School’s count of new cases among students stood at 34 at its most recent report last Friday, compared to 10 a week earlier.

By contrast, Northwestern University showed a decline in student cases its most recent report from last Thursday to 114 from 176 a week earlier.
