Evanston/Skokie School District 65 reported today that COVID-19 exposures among students and staff declined slightly this week to 52 from the 57 reported a week ago.

The district’s case counts include both new COVID positive cases among students and staff as well as students and staff who are in quarantine because either they or someone they were in close contact with either exhibited COVID-19 symptoms or tested positive for the disease.

The highest number of persons affected this week was 14 at Nichols Middle School, followed by 12 at King Arts.

Evanston Township High School reported nine exposures this week, one new student case and eight students in quarantine. That was down from 19 exposures last week, with nine new student cases and 10 students in quarantine.
