The American Craft Exposition runs through Sunday at the Crown Sports Pavilion on the Northwestern University Campus.
About 150 artisans with works ranging from glass and ceramics to jewelry and clothing fill the hall in the show staged by the Auxilary of Evanston Northwestern Healthcare to benefit cancer research.
Exhibitor Jim Vollmer of Just Imagine Glass of Seattle, Wash., said the show is one of the three or four highest quality craft shows in the country each year.
Despite the warm weather, fur coats were a popular attraction at Friday’s opening day of the show.
Hours for the 24th annual edition of the expo are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
The sports pavilion is located at 2311 Campus Drive on the lakefront.
