A crane hoisting a cooling tower will reduce traffic on Clark Street Saturday to one lane between Sherman and Benson avenues between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.

The Clark Street north side sidewalk and parking spaces between Sherman and Benson Avenues will be blocked off. The Clark Street south side parking spaces will be utilized to provide a single lane of traffic during this work.

The cooling tower will be placed onto the building at 1800 Sherman Ave. in downtown Evanston, according to city engineers.
