2000 Maple
An unlocked door provided access for burglars to a home in the 2000 block of Maple Avenue between 3 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. yesterday. Credit and debit cards were among items reported missing.
A 2010 Volkswagen was accessed by burglars in the 2000 block of Maple Avenue between 8 p.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m. yesterday.
1700 Dobson
A bag was taken from an unlocked 2016 Toyota in the 1700 block of Dobson Avenue between 1:45 a.m. Friday and 2 a.m. Saturday.

1512 Central
Adelle M. Calahan, 27, of 2535 Prairie Ave., was arrested at 1512 Central St. at 3:15 a.m. Saturday and charged with domestic battery.
Graffiti
Lake at Sherman
Graffiti was found on the sidewalk at Lake Street and Sherman Avenue at 8:47 a.m. Friday.
1300 Dodge
Graffiti was found at a health club in the 1300 block of Dodge Avenue at 9:46 a.m. Friday.
Church at Dodge
Graffiti was found on the sidewalk at Church Street and Dodge Avenue at 8:46 a.m. Friday.

Lemorne B. Cole, 28, of 1812 Ashland Ave., was arrested at 2101 Dempster St. at 9:20 p.m. Friday and charged with unlawful use of a weapon as a felon.
1832 Ashland
Anthony D. Henley, 18, of 1318 Fargo Ave., Des Plaines, was arrested at 1832 Ashland Ave. at 12:07 a.m. Saturday and charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
2141 Dobson
Juan Melendez, 19, of 2141 Dobson St., was arrested at that address at 2:51 a.m. yesterday and charged with consumption of alcohol as a minor. He is due in court on Oct. 18 at 9 a.m.

500 Kedzie
A cell phone delivered to an apartment common area in the 500 block of Kedzie Street was stolen around 2:52 p.m. Saturday.
600 Chicago
Someone stole alcoholic products from the Walgreens pharmacy in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue around 9:50 a.m. Friday.
600 Lake
A Black Lives Matter sign was stolen from a religious institution in the 600 block of Lake Street between 7 p.m. Thursday and 1 p.m. Saturday.
1600 Dodge
An unsecured bicycle was stolen from the school grounds at Evanston Township High School around 7 p.m. Wednesday.
2100 Central
A bicycle was stolen from an apartment storage area in the 2100 block of Central Street between 6 p.m. on Aug. 20 and 3 p.m. Saturday.
2450 Main
Rodney V. Dunmars, 52, of 6605 S. Seeley Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 2450 Main St. at 3:10 p.m. Saturday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on Sept. 27 at 1:30 p.m.
2748 Green Bay
Scott C. Pew, 53, of 132 16th Ave., San Francisco, was arrested at 2748 Green Bay Road at 12:39 p.m. Friday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on Oct. 4 at 9 a.m.

Jose Avila, 49, of 4920 Mulford St., Skokie, was arrested at 1735 Chicago Ave. at 5:02 p.m. Thursday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Sept. 27 at 10:30 a.m.
Ridge at Mulford
Kendale K. Chavez, 20, of 1905 W. Leland Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Ridge Avenue and Mulford Street at 9:20 p.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Oct. 3 at 9 a.m.
Howard at Florence
Jose A. Leon-Gonzalez, 34, of 2049 W. Touhy Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Howard Street and Florence Avenue at 9:41 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Sept. 5 at 10:30 a.m.
Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
Off-campus patrolling.
After the arrest of the off-campus burglar last year, it has been over a year without a house or apartment burglary. I hope this is not a start of off-campus burglaries. Northwestern students need to lock their doors, and report any suspicious activity around their property.
