“…due in court xx/xx/xx..” What does it mean for safety ?
Does this always mean that if the person cannot post bail, that he/she will be in jail until the hearing date ?
Can the police add to the public report whether bail was posted—so the person is let out—or remains in jail ?
Given some of the things I see people charged with, I don't like the idea of them out awaiting trial—bond or not. Do we have stats. on their crimes, if out, while awaiting trial ?
