The Chicago Transit Authority is soliciting bids to replace its decrepit Church Street viaduct in Evanston.

The bids are due March 3, and the agency tells the Chicago Tribune it will announce a construction schedule once a contractor is selected.

CTA contractors are still finishing up work on the Main Street viaduct, the first of six Purple Line viaducts in Evanston scheduled for replacement over the next several years.
