The Chicago Transit Authority will start repairs to its Davis Street viaduct in downtown Evanston Monday
The work, expected to continue through June 10, includes repairs to the north and south abutments of the viaduct.
Work will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Mondays through Fridays and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
The roadway will remain open but parking near the viaduct will be restricted. Sidewalk access will be narrow and may be intermittently redirected during material handling. There will be flaggers assisting pedestrians and traffic at all times during the working hours.
