Just in time for Monday’s opening day of school, the Evanston/Skokie District 65 School Board plans to approve the appointment of a chief administrative officer and interim superintendent at a special meeting Friday at 7:30 a.m.

As with all meetings of the board, plans are being made for the proceedings to be televised live on cable channel 19 and to be streamed live on the internet, according to Pat Markham, district spokesperson.

Early risers are invited to attend the meeting in person at district headquarters, 1500 McDaniel Ave.
