Evanston’s summer-long starlight concert series got off to a damp start Thursday evening when the Brooklyn-based group, Cordero, had to play inside the Levy Center rather than out in James Park because of rain showers.

A full schedule for the 16-night concert series, presented by the city’s cultural arts division, is available online.
Next up, legendary Chicago blues bassist Bob Stroger on Tuesday, June 17, at Harbert Park.
