The National Weather Service says we could get a little more snow tonight to add to our record total for the year.
The forecast says, if we do get snow, it will probably be less than an inch and mainly on grassy and elevated areas, but some slushy accumulation may occur on roadways — which may increase travel times.
The better news is that high temperatures around 40 on Tuesday should melt whatever snow falls overnight. And it’s supposed to be 50 degrees by Wednesday.
Update 4:30 p.m.: Assistant Public Works Director James Maiworm says he will have a few employees on standby through the evening rush hour to respond to the snow if needed.
