Evanston police say a driver for a restaurant delivery service was robbed Wednesday night.

The driver told police he arrived at a building at 244 Callan Ave. about 10:45 p.m., but couldn’t find the person who placed the order.

He then called her on his cell phone and she said she’d be right out — but instead he was confronted by three young people — two men and a woman — who made him turn over his money, cell phone and keys.

  1. concealed carry – NOW
We need legal concealed carry laws NOW. Time for Evanston to pull its collective head out of the sand and enact some progressive gun laws. Some of you know what that means, some of you may need help understanding what “progressive gun laws” truly mean. Progressive, in this context, means that you retain the right to defend yourself with the same technology already being carried by the criminals – a gun. Your life is worth more than theirs (because they are criminals and you are not).
