Evanston police reportedly had to use a taser to subdue a man who was throwing rocks along the Metra tracks near the South Boulevard CTA station about 9:10 this morning.

A Fire Department ambulance was called to transport the man to a local hospital.

Train traffic on both lines reportedly was stopped for a time because of the incident.
