Documents stolen from office on Darrow

Someone stole documents and records from an office in the 1600 block of Darrow Avenue. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Battery

1710 Orrington

Senyo K. Agawu, 24, of 935 Ernst St., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was arrested at 1710 Orrington Ave. at 4 a.m. Saturday and charged with domestic battery. He was due in court at 1:30 p.m. yesterday.

Burglary

1500 Monroe

Someone attempted to force the door open to a condominium in the 1500 block of Monroe Street between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Friday.

1200 Washington

Cash was stolen from an unlocked 1997 Toyota that was parked on the street in the 1200 block of Washington Street between 10 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday.

Criminal Damage Vehicle

1800 Maple

A 2012 Lexus sustained scratches in the Maple Avenue garage around 10:52 p.m. yesterday.

Criminal Damage Property

2000 Darrow

A fence at a home in the 2000 block of Darrow Avenue was damaged between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Thursday.

1722 Brummel

Bethanie Emmanuela Feteau, 28, of 149 Asbury Ave., was arrested at 1722 Brummel St. at 4:55 a.m. Saturday and charged with criminal damage to property. She is due in court on April 21 at 9 a.m.

338 Ridge

Michael C. Giles, 22, of 7052 S. Vernon, Chicago, was arrested at 338 Ridge Ave. at 8:10 a.m. Saturday and charged with criminal damage to property. He is due in court on May 10  at 9 a.m.

Graffiti

1200 Oakton

Graffiti was discovered in the yard of a home in the 1200 block of Oakton Street at 5:05 p.m. Friday.

Theft

1600 Darrow

Records and documents were taken from an office in the 1600 block of Darrow Avenue between midnight on March 10 and midnight Thursday.

1600 Foster

A white sweatshirt left unattended in the 1600 block of Foster Street was stolen around 10 p.m. Friday.

Other

1923 Asbury

Mason M. Benton, 47, of 1923 Asbury Ave., was arrested at that address at 6:02 p.m. Friday and charged with violation of an order of protection. He is due in court on March 30 at 9:30 a.m.

Monroe at Ridge

Roger W. Benson, 30, of 2020 W. Farwell, Chicago, was arrested at Monroe Street and Ridge Avenue at 11 p.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on April 26 at 9 a.m.

721 Howard

Taysha Omonique Brown, 23, of 1554 W. Jonquil, Chicago, was arrested at 721 Howard St. at 3:42 p.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on April 28 at 1:30 p.m.

900 Greenleaf

James P. Chritensen, 65, of 5427 W, Addison St., Chicago, was arrested at 900 Greenleaf St. at 6:25 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on April 26 at 1:30 p.m.

100 Asbury

Jesse Adams Dixon, 27, of 9655 Woods Dr., Skokie, was arrested at 100 Asbury Ave. at 4:15 a.m. Friday and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on April 28 at 9 a.m.

719 Chicago

Sinem Leyla Ergul, 24, of 720 Wellington Ave., Elk Grove Village, was arrested at 719 Chicago Ave. at 3:55 p.m. Thursday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on April 26 at 1:30 p.m.

Jose Manuel Hernandez-Segura, 18, of 2001 Grey Ave., was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 12:15 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on April 21 at 10:30 a.m.

Shawn E. Turnage, 23, of 4419 W. Thomas, Chicago, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 4 a.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on April 21 at 9 a.m.
