Door forced open, laptop stolen

A laptop was stolen during a burglary of an apartment on Hull Terrace sometime between Friday and yesterday. This among the stories in today's daily crime bulletin from Evanston police. 

Battery

Ledeitra Rashon Wallace, 27, of 8908 Lamon Ave., Skokie, was arrested at 1810 Monroe St. at 6 p.m. Monday and charged with domestic battery. A court date was set for 9:30 a.m. May 18. 

Burglary

2300 Hull

A Macbook was stolen from an apartment in the 1200 block of Hull Terrace after someone forced open a door to home between 9:30 a.m. Friday and 4:20 p.m. yesterday.

Shots heard

Grey and Foster

Shots were reported heard at Grey Avenue and Foster Street between at 4:50 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area and found nothing. 

Theft

2400 Howard

Three bottles of Grey Goose vodka were stolen from a grocery store in the 2400 block of Howard Street between 3:40 a.m. and 3:50 a.m. April 26.

700 Seward

The rear driver's side tail light assembly on a 1999 Honda parked in the 700 block of Seward Street was stolen between 6:30 p.m. Monday and 7:45 a.m. yesterday.

2400 Howard 

The front and back license plates on a 2003 Volkswagen parked in the 2400 block of Howard Street were stolen between 4 p.m. Nov. 6 and noon Thursday.

1500 Sherman

A locked black and silver Trek mountain bicycle was stolen from a sidewalk in the 1500 block of Sherman Avenue between 11 p.m. yesterday and 1:17 p.m. today.

300 Ridge

A locked Windsor men's mountain bicycle was stolen from a hospital in the 300 block of Ridge Avenue between 4:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. yesterday.

1454 Elmwood

Vinay R. Rawlani, 34, of 1211 S. Prairie Ave., Chicago, was arrested at the Evanston Police Department, 1454 Elmwood Ave., at 1:05 p.m. Monday and charged with theft over $500. A court date was set for 8 a.m. today. 

Traffic

1300 Hartrey

Courtney E. Bryant-Lewis, 41, of 1339 Fowler Ave., was arrested at 1300 Hartrey Ave. at 3:23 a.m. today and charged with a traffic violation. A court date was set for 9 a.m. June 20.
