Skokie police say two 16-year-olds tried to rob a drug dealer from Evanston. But the older man wasn’t scared by their pellet guns and forced one of the kids to strip at knife point before running off with his clothes.

Police say the incident happened Thursday about 4:30 p.m. after the would-be robbers arranged with a 17-year-old youth to set up a deal in which Corie R. Brissette, 21, of 1833 Hartrey Ave. in Evanston was to deliver marijuana to them.

After the confrontation police, alerted to the incident, arrested the three teenagers in the 7300 block of Niles Center Road in Skokie, and later took Brissette into custody in the 2200 block of Main Street in Evanston.

Brissette has been charged with armed robbery and delivery of cannabis. The teens face a variety of charges including robbery, battery and possession of cannabis.

Brissette is due in Skokie district court on Wednesday.
