Early voting for next month’s general election starts today and runs through Oct. 28.

Voters can go to the Evanston City Clerk’s office or dozens of other locations around Cook County to cast their ballots.

Early voting for next month’s general election starts today and runs through Oct. 28.

Voters can go to the Evanston City Clerk’s office or dozens of other locations around Cook County to cast their ballots.

Voting hours at the Civic Center are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m Monday through Saturday.

Early voting is conducted on touch screens that handle every version of the ballot used in different parts of the county.

Voters need to show a government-issued photo ID such as a passport, driver’s license, or military ID. 

Voters do not need to provide an excuse or reason why they cannot make it to the polls on Election Day. You need only to fill out an application at the Early Voting site.
