Hundreds of children and their parents turned out Saturday for the annual easter egg hunt at the Evanston Ecology Center.

The event, sponsored by the North Suburban Youth Foundation was divided into four sessions to accommodate the large number of participants.

In a twist on the usual bunny story, the kids were told they needed to help Belinda the Bullfrog find all the eggs she misplaced in the Arboretum. After the egg hunt, the kids learned about frogs at the ecology center.

Thanks to Rick Nelson of the Evanston Environmental Association for the photos. You can see more of them on the association’s website.
