A home in the 500 block of Ingleside Place sustained damage from several raw eggs thrown against its  south side. This among the stories in today’s crime bulletin from Evanston police.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

500 Ingleside

Someone threw raw eggs and caused cleanup damage to a residence in the 500 block of Ingleside Place between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. yesterday.

1300 Maple

Two windows were broken at a home in the 1300 block of Maple Avenue between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. Monday.

300 Ridge

A medical monitoring machine was damaged at St. Francis Hospital in the 300 block of Ridge Avenue around 3:10 a.m. today when a patient receiving treatment became upset and punched the screen with a closed fist. The hospital estimated the damage at about $25,000.

BATTERY

2605 Prairie

Gregory Michael Barry, 59, of 2605 Prairie Ave., was arrested at that address at 9:21 p.m. Tuesday and charged with battery.

BURGLARY

2200 Green Bay

Someone forced entry to an auto repair shop in the 2200 block of Green Bay Road between 7:35 a.m. and 8:35 a.m. Wednesday and took a 2009 Jaguar SF vehicle.

SHOTS HEARD

1800 Darrow

Gunshots were reported in the 1800 block of Darrow Avenue at 1:35 a.m. today. Police checked the area but found nothing.

THEFT

500 Dodge

Coins and audiovisual equipment were taken from a home in the 500 block of Dodge Avenue shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday.

1600 Central

Someone stole money from the tip jar at a restaurant in the 1600 block of Central Street at 8:41 p.m. Tuesday.

1000 Central

An unsecured Trek bicycle was taken from a bike rack in the 1000 block of Central Street between 7 p.m. on May 15 and 9 a.m. the next day.

1900 Hartrey

Medication was taken from a home in the 1900 block of Hartrey Avenue between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Tuesday.

TRAFFIC

7300 Western

Sandra E. Aparicio, 25, of 1406 W. Jonquil Terrace, Chicago, was arrested at 7300 N. Western Ave., Chicago, at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday and charged with a traffic violation.

1131 Ridge

Ezra Bloomenkranz,  23, of 6647 N. Whipple St., Chicago, was arrested at 1131 Ridge Ave. at 7:53 a.m. Monday and charged with a traffic violation.

1100 Ridge

Twaynis L. Royal, 38, of 1508 Pitner Ave., was arrested at 1100 Ridge Ave. at 7:53 a.m. Monday and charged with a traffic violation.

9599 Skokie

Yasmine I. Sims, 24, of 520 Lakehurst Ave., Waukegan, was arrested at 9599 Skokie Blvd. at 8:36 a.m. Tuesday and charged with a traffic violation.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute an assumption of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
