THEFT

1600 Sherman

A black Gotrax electric scooter was stolen from the vestibule common area of a building in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tuesday.

800 Church

Eyeglass frames were taken from an optometrist’s office in the 800 block of Church Street around 1:30 p.m. yesterday.

BURGLARY

800 Seward

A burglar entered the communal storage area of a building in the 800 block of Seward Street between June 23 and 4 p.m. Sunday and removed a Scott Speedster road bicycle.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

900 Ashland

A window was found broken at a park in the 900 block of Ashland Avenue at 8:06 p.m. yesterday.

1400 Grey

A passenger in a rideshare vehicle was reported as having keyed the vehicle in the 1400 block of Grey Avenue at about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

2600 Colfax

Someone damaged the front door of Lincolnwood Elementary School in the 2600 block of Colfax Street between midnight and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS

1927 Church

Stephanie Garcia, 29, of 828 S. Martin Luther King, Waukegan, was arrested at 1927 Church St. at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday and charged with criminal trespass to a residence.

DRUGS

1454 Elmwood

Anthony D. Henley, 22, of 1318 Fargo Ave., Des Plaines, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 8 p.m. yesterday and charged with manufacture or delivery of cannabis.

1100 Fowler

Isaac J. Roach, 36, of 2513 S. California Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1100 Fowler Ave. at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

GRAFFITI

Elmwood at Case

Gray spray-painted graffiti was discovered on a stop sign at Elmwood Avenue and Case Street at 11:50 a.m. yesterday.

Ridge at Monroe

Orange spray-painted graffiti was discovered on an electrical box at Ridge Avenue and Monroe Street at 8:49 a.m. yesterday.

SHOTS HEARD

1800 Ashland

Gunshots were reported at 7:13 p.m. Tuesday in the 1800 block of Ashland Avenue. Police checked the area and were told by witnesses that they had heard fireworks. Otherwise, nothing was found.

1400 Simpson

Gunshots were reported in the 1400 block of Simpson Street at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Police checked the area and located a vehicle with a bullet hole.

1800 Hartrey

Gunshots were reported in the 1800 block of Hartrey Avenue at 11:03 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

TRAFFIC

Dempster at McDaniel

Marco Antonio Carrillo Ruiz, 22, of 4954 W. Cortez St., Chicago, was arrested at Dempster Street and McDaniel Avenue at 4:04 p.m. Tuesday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Aug. 5 at 10:30 a.m.

635 Chicago

Rey Chavez-Morales, 46, of 2641 N. Laramie Ave., was arrested at 635 Chicago Ave. at 7:47 p.m. Wednesday and charged with a traffic violation.
