The Evanston Environmental Association (EEA) will hold its annual meeting Saturday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m. in the Ecology Center, 2024 McCormick Blvd.

Linda Kruhmin with Talking Farm will be the keynote speaker. The Critter Crew and other volunteers will be presented awards.

Keep Evanston Beautiful, Inc. (KEB) will be the recipient of the EEA’s 2008 Charlotte Omohundro Environmental Service Award. For more than 16 years, KEB has served the Evanston community through its anti-litter efforts, educational programs for school children, and public awareness events on recycling.

A reception and silent auction will follow the awards ceremony. The EEA annual meeting is free and open to the public. For more information, call the Ecology Center at 847-448-8256.
