Repairs are slated to begin Monday to the North Branch of the Evanston Public Library, but the facility will remain open for regular hours during construction.

Workmen will be fixing the roof and a portion of the exterior façade of the building, located in the busy shopping area in the 2000 block of Central Street. The work is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

All three locations of the library will be closed on Dec. 24 and 25 for the Christmas holiday.
