Book-loving Evanston middle schoolers are invited to a “Lit Fest” at the main Evanston Public Library, as the result of a partnership with the Evanston/Skokie School District 65 middle school librarians.

The event, scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 23, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., will feature appearances by more than a dozen Young Adult authors, who will answer queries about all things related to writing, publishing, and Young Adult literature.

Teens can also enjoy free swag bags, pizza, raffle prizes, and a book signing.

Featured authors include: Todd Hasak-Lowy, Ami Polonsky, James Klise, Lindsay Currie, Stefanie Lyons, Michelle Falkoff, Peter Kujawinski, and Kat Falls.

Copies of the authors’ books will be sold on-site by the Book Stall, a Winnetka book store.

Registration for Lit Fest may be completed on-line.
