After decisive losses to two of Illinois’ very top teams earlier in the week, Evanston Boys Lacrosse team bounced back on Saturday with a 4th quarter surge against Glenbard West.

The Kits took their first, only, and decisive lead of the day on Junior Sam Knepper’s Extra-Man goal with only 35 seconds left.  Senior Charlie Cunningham extended his scoring streak with 4 points (G-2, A-2) and led the team with a season-high 8 ground balls.  Kits continued their recent and surprising Face-Off slump, winning only 2 of 17 against the Hilltoppers.

The Kits were glad to return the favor from last year’s inaugural meeting on Lazier Field where the Hilltopper’s tied the game with 20 seconds left, then took their first lead with the overtime game winner.

Wildkit Scoring: Charlie Cunningham: G-2, A-2; Thomas Julcher: G-2; Sam Mayne: G-1, A-1; Aidan Crowe: G-1, Sam Knepper: G-1; Jake Casati: A-1
