I’m Jane Colleton. I’ve been a resident of Evanston for 40 years. I’ve been on the Evanston Township High School Board of Education for almost 20 years.

And as much as we would wish educational progress to be swift, it is not. I bring an experienced perspective to board work. I know what we’ve tried. I know what we need to continue. And I know where we need to go.

I’m committed to the children of Evanston and I want to be part of providing the best education we can for all of them.

I believe my record shows that I have provided invaluable continuity with our past, worked cooperatively and effectively with our current board, administration and staff, and helped to form and implement plans that will assure opportunity, access and excellence to all our students in the future.
