Evanston Township High School slipped a bit in a new ranking of Illinois public high schools by the website Niche.com — falling from 15th last year to 18th place this year.
The new ranking still let ETHS end up with an overall "A+" grade, according to the company's evaluation.
Several north suburban schools topped ETHS in the new rankings, including Stevenson, Glenbrook South and North, New Trier, Deerfield and Highland Park.
ETHS got its lowest grades — "A-" — for "Administration & Policies" and "Health & Safety" according to the Niche analysis, which is based on a mix of test results plus student and parent surveys posted to the website.
ETHS scores well in new rankings (1/5/15)
