Hey, another week, and another publication is out with a “best of” list. Today’s somewhat puzzling list comes from a website called Movodo, which claims Evanston is one of the ten best-dressed small cities in America.

Hey, another week, and another publication is out with a “best of” list. Today’s somewhat puzzling list comes from a website called Movodo, which claims Evanston is one of the ten best-dressed small cities in America.

Actually we didn’t make the top 10 in Movodo subcategories like how many high-end clothing or shoe or jewelry stores or even tailor shops we have per capita. But boy did we score high on the number of dry cleaners — fourth highest per capita in the nation among towns with less than 100,000 residents.

That was good enough to place Evanstson at number 8 on the overall list. Topping the list was Santa Monica, Calif. And barely making the cut at number 10 was Miami Beach, Fla.
