Evanston’s defense forced 22 turnovers and limited host Waukegan to 34 percent shooting from the field as the Wildkits rolled to a 61-32 Central Suburban League South division victory Friday night.
Evanston, now 17-8 overall, has already secured a second place finish in the CSL South with a 7-2 mark. The Kits conclude league play next Friday at home against Niles West.
Against Waukegan, ETHS broke to a 16-4 first quarter advantage and never looked back.
Junior Elijah Henry paced the Wildkits with 12 points and 5 rebounds. Nibra White tallied 10 points and C.J. Singletary added 8 points and 4 rebounds off the bench for the winners.
