City Manager Wally Bobkiewicz says the Evanston Civic Center will be back to normal operations Tuesday, after having only essential personnel on duty today.

Trash and recycling collections, which were suspended to day as crews dealt with the snow storm, will resume on Tuesday as well — with all collections one day later than usual for the rest of the week.

The city is also asking residents to park cars on the even-numbered side of the street during the day Tuesday.

If you need to get your car off the street, free parking at the city’s downtown garages will continue through 11:59 p.m. Tuesday.

The Robert Crown Center, 1701 Main St., will be open overnight tonight as a warming center. People who need transportation to the shelter should contact 311.
