Evanston crime: Hit with a bat and crowbar, then robbed


At 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, a victim was attacked on Howard Street by four persons who hit him with a bat and a crowbar and then robbed him of his money. Also, a number of bikes were reported stolen throughout Evanston. These and other stories in today's daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.
