Evanston based Northfield Laboratories Inc. has won a temporary order from a California judge barring a San Diego newspaper from publishing reports about tests of its synthetic blood substitute. News of the controversy follows announcement earlier this week that Northfield had won a federal grant to continue trials of PolyHeme.
