Skokie police are asking for the public’s help in determining who shot a 24-year-old Evanston man in the leg during a disturbance at the Rodeway Inn hotel early Saturday morning.

The man was taken to Evanston Hospital where he was reported to be in good condition.

Police said the victim and witnesses refused to provide information about the incident, which may have been gang-related.

Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting at 9333 Skokie Blvd. to call them at 847-982-5900. or use the anonymous text-a-tip hotline at 847-933-TIPS.
