An Evanston man was killed early Monday on Chicago’s west side when he was shot at least three times by a man firing from a black SUV.

The Chicago Tribune reports that Marlon Pollard was hit in the abdomen, face and left leg and collapsed outside Fatso’s Last Stand a restaurant in the 2200 block of West Chicago Avenue.

The Sun-Times says that Pollard, 36, who lived in the 1400 block of Darrow Avenue, was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition after the 1:10 a.m. shooting and died about an hour later.

The Sun-Times said police considered the shooting to be gang-related.
