Evanston Now today launched a redesigned website with a fresh look and added features to make it more helpful to our readers.
The new site completes our transition to a design that is equally accessible to readers on desktop, laptop and mobile devices.
It also features a new subscription management system that better integrates email newsletter subscriptions and paid access to stories on the website. (You now can manage your account on the site by clicking the blue “EN” button that floats in the lower right hand corner of the page.)
The new design also keeps site navigation accessible at all times with the “hamburger menu” (the three lines just to the left of the Evanston Now logo at the top of the page).
And we’ve made site search, which previously was available only on our home page, easy to find on any page by moving it just to the right of the Evanston Now logo.
We want to thank our subscribers and advertisers for the support that’s made it possible to fund the cost of this major update to Evanston Now.
And I’d appreciate your feedback on the new look. You can email comments to me at bill@evanstonnow.com
